Mr.M's lecture was very valuable and teaching English in the class with my group members was very important experience. And I observed some classes in JHS. JHS teachers English class was impressed me.
The last class, I designed a lesson in my and present it to some my class members. I made "I think～." lesson plan. My lesson plan is below.
The goal of the class.
・Students can talk using "I think (that)～.".
・Students can made a sentences using "I think ～".
・Students understand the other apprication, "Hope" and "Know".
Warm-up
criss cross activity.
First, a line students stand up and teacher asks some easy question (for example, "What time is it now? and so on). Students rise their hands and answer it as fast as possible. Students can answer the question, they can sit down. The last students stay and the next line's students including the last students stand up and answer some questions. The last question in the Warm-up is the review of the last class. For example, I taught "If" in the last class, I ask the students in the warm-up, "Please make one sentences using "If"".
Introduction of new materials.
Teacher present the key word"think", and ask students "What does it mean?". Next, teacher explain how to use "I think～" sentence. And teacher makes some easy sentence use "I think".
(For example,"I think tomorrow's examination is easy.") Next, students repeat this easy sentence.
Teacher also teach interrogative using "think". "What do you think" and teach how to answer it, "I think/ I don't think".
Pair work.
Teacher give students handout writing some easy sentences using "I think". For example,"I think English is important.", "I think she is a nurse." and so on. Students make pairs and question and answer each other.
Explain "Hope", "Know" sentences.
This sentence can use other verb, "Know" and "Hope". So teacher explain how to use their sentence and explain the meaning.
New words.
Teacher is practiced by students the new words using "Frash cards". Students repeat them.
Reading.
First, students stand up and reading the textbook silently. When they finished, they sit down. Next, they read loudly and when they finished, they stand up.
The class is over.
This is my lesson plan. And My feeling of strengths and weakness as English teachers below.
The strengths as English teachers.
I think English is close language to people And there are many English words around us and we speak some English words in our daily life. So I think it is funny for students to know English. And English is very useful. English class is also very activity. Teacher have many warm-up activity and practice activity(for example, game), so students can enjoy their English class and learn more about English.
The weaknesses as English teachers.
In Japanese students, they are so shy, so some students don't want to speak English. So some students are silently in the English class. And English grammar is different from Japanese it. So many students meet with a setback in English grammar. And English has many word. So students have to remember more words. This matterr cause to increase students of dislike English. So teachers should device the plan of teaching English carefully.

I like English very much. So If I become an English teacher, I want to report the pleasure of English for my students!

About pair work and group work.

When I was junior high school and high school student, I often play pair work and group work in English class. I think about group work below.
Plus point of pair work and group work.
・We can exchange our opinion each other.
・Compare each opinion and get other thinking in the class.
・We can talk more using English.
・We act with our friends, so we enjoy speaking English.

Minus point of pair work and group work.
・Using many times.
・Stusents who can speak English well talk their opinion more, but students who can't speak English well don't talk their opinion more.
・Teacher can't understand all student's work at a stretch.
・Shy students can't speak their opinion.(Especially, Japanese students?)

I think that pair work and group work have good point and bad point. But when I teach my English class, I will take in pair work and group work actively because these work are good opportunity to speak English!

Extension classes in junior high school.

Last friday, I went to junior high school to observe the English class. I observed the 1st grade class's English. The plan in this class was below.
1. Warm-up
Warm-up activity was called "Dangan imput". Students make a pair and read short sentences each other. It have to read as fast as possible. After that, students ask all sentence's means each other and check the correct answer.
This activity makes students more positive. In this class, students played it positively. I think it is "students activity" that is more important to make a class.
2.Presentation
This class's goal was [To ask and answer useing "What"]. "What" is very important word to study English, I think. First, teacher showed some pictures and led to students "What" word in Japanese. Many students said 「何」 when teacher showed some picture. Next, teacher show key words in the class and students repeated them. Students studied " What's this?", "It's ～.", and in addition, "That's right!" and "No, it's not." in the class.
3.Practice
After presentation, students made some groups and placticed.　First, they desided the number each other. There were 4 students in a group, so students 1～4 were there. Next, they gathered each numbers and remember one thing. After that, they ask each other using "What" and explained each things with group members.
This activity is very important, I think. Because only one student know his/her memorize thing. So students have ttheir responsibility. So they have to speak English to explain the thing and other students have to ask in English. Students speak more English in this occasion.
I could learn more things about teaching English in the class. I'm going to go practice teaching this September. It was very important experience for me to teach English.

My advise about how to teach English in junior high school.

Last thursday, Mr. M came to ETM class. He is an English teacher in junior high school. His lecture benefitted me. First, he taught us important things for all teachers. Junior high school teachers have to teach not only subjects but sutudent's life and future. Teachers are looked students and their parents. So teachers have to be their model. So I think that there are many important things for teachers. First, greeting is very important. Good greetings are important in the world. Next teachers have a responsibility on their behavior. Teachers are, so to speak, the model of students. So they have to behave good model. I think that teachers are looked everyday. So I want to be a good model for students.
Teaching points in junior high school benefitted me, too. The most important thing is students act, I think. No act in the class, it is very boing. When students study more activity, they enjoy their study and learn many things, I think. Especially English class, more activity is very important. Another important points are that.

1. (English class) No, Japanese!
I watched some English class in junior high school. The teachers use English very much. Of course using Japanese is impotant when they want to be understood by students. But teachers should spend much time using English in the class. Then we can be talked students in English.

2.Image of GOAL in the class.
Mr.M said that when we teach English, first we image the goal of our class. It is very impotant. It is important to define points in the class. And when we image the goal clealy, the class is plain and more rhythmic.

Mr. M's lecture is very important for me. Teachers think of student's all things. So teachers job is hard but very challenging!

My lesson

I taught English for ETM3 students today. Today's lesson was group work. So I taught English with my classmate. Today' s my lesson was "How to introduce each other". I was given a hand out of today's lesson last week. So, we thought our lesson plan after class. Our lesson's key words were [This is my friend, ～.] ,[This is my English teacher,～.], [He's/She's my ～.] and [He's/She's from ～.]. Every phrases are very important to introduce each other.
Success point of my lesson was introduce ourselves, first. Today's lesson was introduce other people, so when we introduce ourselves, we showed students we introduced each other. I introduced myself and introduced the next person, Saki. Next, Saki introduced the next person, Mami and next…. This activity was expected students today's lesson. And next success point was short play. We could show many activity use today's key words, I think.
Reflection point of my lesson was practice more. We planed this class but we couldn't practice enough. Because we didn't have enough time practice together. So sometimes I failed this lesson. But my group members supported me. We supported each other. Next, I think I read more my lesson's textbook. I read my text but if I read more, I could think more good idea. So next, I read more my textbook and think good lesson plan with my group members.

My feeling of teaching practice

Hello. I'm the lion. I have an anxiety thing now. On August 28, I'm going to go teaching practice in Fuzoku junior high school. I have taught English in Thailand and Nakano elementary school. But, both of them were "group work". But teaching practice is alone to make 指導案 and to teach English and so on. I do all things alone. And I teach English for real junior high school students. Teachers do not only teach their own subject but think student's life. It is very difficult for me, I think now. I study more to have my confidence. But I fester my anxiety gradually. But I want to do my best for my teaching practice! And I want to be in favor teacher with students! What do everyone think of their teaching practice? I want to know.

Teaching Observation

On June,2, I went to Huzoku junior high school and observed some English class. From 1 pm to 1:50 pm, I observed 2D class.

2D class.
1. What was the goal of the class?
The main theme in this class is "Introdution about Easter Island." Students wrote about Easter Island and present it like reporter.

2.What activities did the students do to accomplish the goal?
First, they reviewed the last class. And teacher showed some key words for students and they confirm them. And they read source book about Easter Island and they read the textbook using electronic dictionary. And they wrote the report use key words.

3.What was the role of the teacher in this class?
The core of this class was the activity the students. So teacher lead them to write their reports well. So first, the teacher taught some key words to write students own report well, and walked around in class and answered their questions. And he was presented many students to be hear many opinions other students.

4.From watching the teacher and students, did you receive any hints or clues as to how to a successful English class?
I think that it is important for teachers to support students many times.　This class, teacher gave much time for students to make their reports. And teacher want around the class and advised them individually. The teacher advised all students spent many time. I think that teachers do not only speak on teacher's desk but advise for students individually.

From 2:00 pm to 2:50 pm, I observed 3rd grade student's class. But it were too people in this class to observe it. So, I couldn't observe this class properly. They studied about "Foster program".

"An analysis of my language learning experience"

1.My most enjoyable language learning experience has been in Thailand. Last summer, I went to Thailand with my friend to teach English for Thai children. This is my first foreign country and my first practice teaching. But many student were most cheerful and kindly so we enjoyed teaching. And our host mother was an English teacher in the school. So her English was so fluently. She took out many place in Thailand. And thanks to her, we took part in many English project. So we had good experience in Thailand.
2.My least enjoyable language activity has been before examination of Iwate university. I was not good at an English grammar. But it was most important for me to pass the exam. So everyday I faced handout and reference and I often question my English teacher. Sometimes I annoyed myself for I did`t memorize the rule of English grammar. But I studied much time then, I study english in Iwate university. So now I think this is my good activity.
3.My most valuable language learning activity has been the practice teaching in Nakano elementary school for the first time. When I was elementary school student, I didn`t speak English. But now, education of elementary school has English class commonly. I was very anxiety because I teached English for the first time. It was before Thailand. But my group member and I made many plan of the class and practiced before the class. So our first class was success! I knew the English education of elementary school through this experience.
4.My least valuable language learning activity has been nothing. If I did not have many experience today, whether good or bad things, I would not study English in Iwate university. So, I think my all English experience is valuable for me.
5.In general my language learning experience has been very important. Because I had many experience today, and I like English very much gradually. I like English and study it, I can touch many foreigner people. So my English experience is very important for me.
6.What kind of influence do you think your language learning experience will have on your teaching?
Some my language learning experience affect my speaking English. I entered this university and learned some native teacher and went to abroad for the first time. When I learned English in high school, I studied writing English than speaking English. But now I speak English more than writing English, I think. I was afraid of mistakes of English grammar. So I could not speak English. But now I am not afraid of mistake because I think English skill grow up to speak English. Of course not mistake is very good but no matter what I mistake English, I try to speak. In Thailand life is made me speak English. So I want to speak English more!

The story of how I Learned English

When I was junior high school student, I study English for the first time.
I like English very much because the English teacher in my class was very frank and funny.
When he teached English, he brought interesting goods every classes.
For example, when we learned "Who" , he brought many pictures of TV performers.
He also prepared an interesting English game for the class.
